Group discounts available for TEDxBloomington
April 10, 2014 — TEDxBloomington 2014 is right around the corner on April 26th. Organizers have announced that groups of 5 or more can receive discounted tickets of $40 each. To receive the group discount, tickets must be purchased through the Buskirk-Chumley Theater Box Office in person (114. E. Kirkwood Ave.) or via phone (812-323-3020). Visit www.tedxbloomington for more information and a full line-up of presenters.
The TEDxBloomington stage will feature 17 local and national speakers talking about What Goes ‘Round: literally or metaphorically round, spherical, global, or cyclical ideas. Designed to motivate attendees to be more active in both their local and global communities, this event will spark new discussions and build new networks among participants.
TEDxBloomington 2014 speakers include artists, doctors, environmentalists, permaculturists, architects, and scientists sharing their idea worth spreading in 4- to 18-minutes talks. Attendees will have a chance to hear the best ways to conserve water and electricity in your household (they’re not what you think), a new (but old) way you can help an emergency room doctor determine your need for immediate cardiovascular testing, and why Bloomington may be safer than Sandy Hook, Connecticut.
